The Sapplings series of books address many social topics that are often quite difficult to discuss with young children. Such topics as Mental Health, Stealing, Cheating or Discussing problems with an adult.
Every parent and educationalist tries to protect the younger generation by teaching what is acceptable and unacceptable. The Sappling books are specifically created to deal with these topics in a fun and imaginative way without preaching.
The characters bring their stories to life by telling their own tales, each of which carries a moral.
These also have threaded into them facts about the eco system. Book One even includes some simple number work - but in a fun way.
The characters names have been carefully devised so they can be read phonetically encouraging the children to read for themselves.
